How to Edit a Prompt with PromptEasily

Editing prompts is an essential aspect of Prompt Engineering. While in some cases your prompt might seem perfect, varying inputs can reveal its limitations. Fortunately, when you author a prompt on PromptEasily, you can edit it at your convenience. Here’s a guide on how to modify your self-created prompt:

Step 1: Navigate to the top of the PromptEasily platform in your browser, and select the ‘My Prompt’ tab. This will showcase all the prompts you’ve authored.

Step 2: For editing a specific prompt, hover over it until you see the pencil icon located in the top right of the prompt card. Click on it.

Step 3: This is where you make changes to your prompt. Whether it’s the template, title, teaser, or hint, everything is at your disposal. You can also modify the topic, activity, model, and its privacy settings. Additionally, you can update the Author information and the associated URL.

Step 4: Once you’re satisfied with the changes, hit the ‘Save Prompt’ button.

The flexibility of editing prompts allows you to incorporate more detailed information and integrate variables to achieve the specific output you seek.
